I just uploaded two new icons to my usericons and when I had to fill the "description" field, inspiration struck me:

Lets make icons based on descriptions. There are no visual inspirations this time, only words. Some of the descriptions are very specific, some are very vague. I hope there'll be something inspiring for everyone!

I asked an AI for a list of paintings and their descriptions - but then I adapted them a little

8-9:Madonna - "Like A Virgin" (1984) (a sepia-toned image of Madonna in a wedding dress). For icon 9 she's not in a wedding dress but she was thought to be the new Virgin Mary, hence this scene.

I love what you did with them! I especially like the Water Lilies, the Luo Fusheng (omg so cute!), and the last two with the black+white silhouettes.

Your icons fit the descriptions to a T! I love the smooth lighting and coloring in 2, the composition in 3, the strong glowing light in 5, the bokeh texture use in 6, the text use in 7, the composition in 8 and 10 and the composition and text use in 11.
