We haven't had a straight-up technique challenge in a while! And I thought I'd make it a difficult one... :). Are you ready to challenge yourself?

Definition of chiaroscuro

1. pictorial representation in terms of light and shade without regard to color


2. the arrangement or treatment of light and dark parts in a pictorial work of art


3. the interplay of light and shadow on or as if on a surface


4. the quality of being veiled or partly in shadow

Oh wow, I like these a lot! The sunbeams go very well with the theme, and the second and third ones are very chiaroscuro.

Wow, I love these! The play of light and shadow is gorgeous in all of them. I especially like the "promises" one, and the first flower, and... pretty much all the forests. :D

Great choices for this theme!
