Our next activity is based on provided textures. You have to use one of these given textures in each icon you make.

These look awesome! I especially like how the image in the first icon really pops because of the texture, but they all look great! ♥

Very interesting composition in the first one. The pointy edges of the text goes well with the hair of the character, and the triangles of the bottom texture.

I love how you did the text on the third, and that the grungy texture that is also visible on the text as well.

Thank you! I didn't even consciously do that spiky thing, I just thought it needed more triangles. :D

I made so many tries with the third one, and the texture was never prominent enough for my liking, it just looked like a plain box. So I added more grunge instead. I'm happy you like how it turned out!

Very nice! I think my favorites are 2 (I love the color gradations, and how the background colors are picked up on her face and hair!) and the two alts with the text "written in blood".
