1-2:Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer (a young woman wearing an earring, bathed in soft, luminous light) 3:Water Lilies by Claude Monet (the serene beauty and transience of nature is captured through vibrant colors and delicate brushwork) 4:Wanda sitting in an armchair, unconvincingly claiming she's fine. 5:a woman looks over her shoulder (I took liberties with this & made a little girl,hope that's okay) 6:Luo Fusheng smiling cutely and surrounded by bokeh lights 7:Jimi Hendrix - "Are You Experienced" (1967) (psychedelic, vibrantly colored cover showing the band in a circular frame, with 70s retro font around it) I did use less vibrant colours in this. 8-9:Madonna - "Like A Virgin" (1984) (a sepia-toned image of Madonna in a wedding dress). For icon 9 she's not in a wedding dress but she was thought to be the new Virgin Mary, hence this scene. 10-11:Mike and the Mechanics - "Living Years" (1988) (a large black silhouette of a person containing a small white silhouette of a(nother) person)-If icon 11 is not okay, please leave it out of the round-up post.
