Of course, now that I've finally decided on a properly autumnal challenge theme with Halloween-ish possibilities for those who like them, the sky is a bright blue here and the sun is shining down brightly. Figures. :D

In this round, you should make icons that look foggy - white or grey, faded, or veiled in smoky-looking textures. They can be ghostly or scary or mysterious, or they can simply showcase how beautiful fog can be in nature. They don't have to be monochrome or completely black and white, color is allowed!

This is a free inspirational challenge.

I've never actually used a Fog Effect/Filter before, so this was definitely a learning experience! O_O;

Wow, I'm excited to see that you tackled this challenge! And you did great! I hope you found something worth keeping in your skill set from this experience! <3

I especially love 4 (I love how you enhanced the light source(s) with the fog)! 5 and 6 look very atmospheric due to the fog effect - like they're hiding for the night to pass or something. I love it. I really like how the effect comes out on 7 as well, giving the relatively uniformly-colored image depth and, well, texture. :D And then I love 9, because it reminds me of Xiaoge from the DMBJ franchise. :D The fog could either be his breath or the cloudy night - it looks great in any case!

I love how you did this challenge without losing your usual icon style , all of them look amazing, but I particularly love the color , grungy feel and crop of 5, 6 , 7 and 9.
