Activity#70 - Vintage Textures

We haven't had a texture-making activity in a while! This time I thought we'd restrict the style a little bit and make textures that look vintage in some way - e.g. something to grunge up your icons, or something with faded colors or classic patterns.

I've put a few bases and inspirational material (which you can use as inspiration or directly to create your textures from) under the cut.



I lose the thumbnails, so beware, those pics are very large! The users/sites linked also have more textures to browse.

I did a bunch of fairly large ones, feel free to use however you want whether for icons or not. The grungy textures are from an old sword and scabbard. If you want the photoshop files, DM me.

Oh my goodness! Can't believe I almost missed this activity! Thanks so much for extending it! ^^

Can't say that these are quite my best specimens, but they are all created using scans I had of the covers from a vintage music book my grandfather had.
