I happened to listen to old chiptunes lately, and thought this would make for a cool challenge! Icon things that look tech-y, digital, futuristic, either by iconing subjects like computers or robots, or achieving a futuristic look through textures or composition.

This is an inspirational challenge. Run wild! \o/

Wow, I love how retro these look, and at the same time very futuristic. O_O

I especially like 1, 2, 4, and 8 and 9. The last two are so impressive with their amazing exclusion/contrast effects.

I went all in on the robot theme! There are a few outliers, and I don't really know how Zhu Yilong snuck his way into this set, but... he did. :D

Lovely set, really goes well with the concept of the challenge. I love the negative space of 3, 4 and 6. The coloring and the way the lines slash across the face of the subject makes 8 look very cool and digitalized.

Love the robot theme! What a perfect idea for this challenge! The use of colors and light in this set is fantastic! My personal favorites are 1, 4, 7, 8, and 9...but the whole group is great! ♥

Thank you! I like turning up the glow on shiny metallic surfaces. It's tricky sometimes, but I try.

My fave is 2 - her expression is A++, and she looks well lit even against the light background - that is hard to do and looks amazing here.

Aw, thank you! ♥ The show has a lot of strong female characters in it. ♥ I love that icon too: Alani is my favorite character, so I am glad I could make a good icon of her. It ended up being a favorite of mine from the set as well! :D

I love the pastel coloring in all these, and omg Shen Wei looks like he's stepping right into some futuristic city. Very scifi! <3 I really like the crisp depth in 1, the dynamic look in 2, the glow in 3 (and the mystery of the blindfold), and heee great crop on fake!android ;) Lin Jing.

HAHAHA!Thanks a lot!I definitely had fun with the brighter colours in this set. Also digital dimension had me thinking of when Shen Wei uses the portal and I was like,MUST USE THIS IDEA! Lin Jing was my first choice for this challenge,lol!
