I'm still looking at the items in my mystery box, but haven't managed any level of inspiration as to what to do with them.

Maybe some more concrete inspiration is more up your alley?

There are color palettes at iconcolors, and two more at iconbattles right now.

icons10in20 has inspirational themes - although i personally find the themes this round exceedingly hard. :D

If you're looking for pre-made caps, capspiration is a good place.
