Activity #36 - Opposites Attract

I thought we could do a technique-related activity again this month!

The theme is to make icons that show opposites.

You can use opposite styles like complementary colors or negative space vs full/complex, or far crop vs close crop, or dark vs bright.

It's not 100% technique-focused, you can also choose to icon opposing subjects - pairs of characters or things that are opposites.

You can do this by making two icons that belong together in a set, or you can do it in a single icon.

Here are some examples:

* You can make as many icons as you like (if you need a goal, five is a good number :))
* There is no minimum, 1 icon is enough to enter this activity (provided it's the kind where the opposites are in one icon :))
* Please submit your icons (and URLs!) to this post, all in one comment (if possible)
* Everyone can participate, you don't have to be a member of this community

* I will collect all the icons from the comments and make a result post
* Everyone can leave comments on the inspiration and activity result posts
* There is no voting

I love how you interpreted the theme! The two Guardian ones are my faves, and I love the first one - awesome composition and b/w contrast!

Heee! I love Crowley with the horns. :DDD

The first one is great! Such low contrast and still all the details come out perfectly. It has such an eerie mood, with her staring at him from the background.

Those are awesome! I'm happy you liked the theme!

They are all so sharp and crisp! (I've been doing too much LQ cdrama, meh.)

I especially love the first one, and the details/no details combo. Both of them are amazing. The silhouettes are so iconic! <3 And the text work and lighting/coloring of the other one is incredible.

Shen Wei and Ye Zun are perfect for this!Loving the last one with the close/far crop and the colouring!There's something about the lighting in these two that I just looove!Also 1 and 2-cuuute Ye Zun and Shen Wei one is really cool!
