This month's activity is a Screencap Chain! We haven't had one in a long while, I hope you'll have fun!
It works like this:
1. Comment to the last image with the word "claim" - each image can only be claimed by one person
2. Make an icon from the given image you claimed
3. Post a new HQ image in a new comment - for screencaps, HQ means at least 1200 x 700 pixels
4. Post your icon in a reply comment to the image you claimed
Image posting rules:
* Please add the link as text in addition to the image, and information about the fandom/source/subject
* To post an image, you should limit its size by using the parameter width="200". You can use this code:
Additional rules:
* You cannot claim your own image
* If nobody claims the last image for three days, I will post a new "last" image to get the activity going again - the unclaimed images can still be claimed!
* If a maker claims an image but doesn't post an icon or new image within 24 hours, I will remove the claim (and if I'm not fast enough, you can ignore the claim) and the image can then be claimed again by somebody else
* If there is more than one unclaimed image, please do not claim more than one at a time
* Everyone can make as many icons as they like from all posted images, but only the first person to claim an image gets to suggest their own new image
* Images may be anything - I know we have a lot of book and comic and video game fans here, it's all allowed - the only thing you cannot use is fanart made by someone other than yourself
* For non-screencap images (lineart, for example) smaller sizes may be okay - just try to provide as high quality images as possible, please
* If you don't know where to upload images, try imgur.com or postimages.org
Have fun!
The usual rules:
* There is no limit on the number of icons you can make
* Comments and praise for other people's icons during this activity is of course always welcome!
* Everyone can participate, you don't have to be a member of this community
* I will post all the icons in a roundup post at the end of the activity

You don't need the "px" part for the pixel size, numbers alone will work too. Like this: width="250"
On postimage.org you can use the automatic thumbnail the page generates, too. From the image page or the new images uploaded page, if you click on the "Share" button different kinds of codes should display.
