Activity #28 - Selective Coloring

The third-highest vote in our poll went to Technique! The technique I chose for this month is "Selective Coloring".

The goal is to color parts of your icon differently than the rest. You can go for black and white with a splash of color, or a differently colored background, or making one color in particular stand out, or, or, or.

Those are great! I especially like ladies 1, 2, and 5, and men 1 and 3.

the last one may not look it, but I did colour it gold :)
And a great job it is! The ones that are a lot of work and don't look fake are always the best. (And so hard to make.)

Lovely icons. I liked the coloring of the 2nd and crop of the 4th in the 1st row and and the 2nd row is quirky and interesting, especially liked icon 4.

I love the second one very much! The way the almost-transparent texture goes across her hair is brilliant. I really like the subtle gradient in 4, and the bright Zhu Yilong icon! The pastel Shen Wei is gorgeous, as well.

You did an amazing job in all of these.

Gorgeous icon set ! I particularly loved the coloring and making of icons 5, 6, 7 , also the crop and partial color of icons 3 and 4. Nice use of polka dot textures ! <3
