Thank you! That took quite a lot of work. Either it was too blurry, or the outlines were too jagged. Ugh. Also, his hands were totally blurry on the original cap already. Aaand I really wanted to make something completely different for the "song title" theme in the first place, but then this happened. It's always like this when I do sets. *g*

I did this icon of Dr Linda from the show Lucifer for a color challenge at LiveJournal. I rarely use textures with stars (made by soaked at LJ as others mentioned below) but I thought this one was cute. Concrit is fine.

Oooh, I like it!

Tiny concrit suggestions:

1) her face is a little reddish compared to the background - maybe add a pale Lighten layer or reduce the red with a Selective Color adjustment?

2) the highlights on her hair suggest a stronger light source. I think I see that you already added some light in the corners. I suggest adding more light on the left border of the icon (her right, where the highlights are in her hair), that makes the lighting look more natural.

That's all the concrit I have.

I really love the cap you chose, it's her signature "I'm so confused but don't mess with me" look. :D The contrast of her hair to the more reddish tones of her dress and background is beautiful, and the star texture is subtle and works really well here.

Wow, a new set! Although I struggle to imagine what I could use them for. I'm so used to grunge and paint textures, and maybe some light, that I completely blank with textures as complex as these. I should probably challenge myself to use them anyway.

i really like the sort of stars/grungy stuff, but yeah some of the backgrounds are very specific to one sort of icon. maybe i should do a provided textures challenge some day!

Oh! A new icon comm - YAY! (not that I'm horribly active in TALKING about icons, but I do like making them.

I know there isn't much talking going on in this comm, but I kinda feel that it still fills a need. If anyone wanted to talk about icon-related stuff, they could, you know? :) Oh, I have no idea.
