Hello! We haven't talked in a while...

For me, autumn is always a busy time, and this year is no exception. I can see the participation in challenges (not only ours) isn't as high as at other times of the year.

I like the coloring a lot! Its paleness suggests distance and alien-ness. So does the crop.

I wonder if it would look better on a darker background. Some desaturated color, but more clearly distinguishable from his facial contours than the white. As it is, he vanishes into the background a bit. Might be worth experimenting with that.

Technique-wise, I have no suggestions. It's all good.

A darker background sounds like a really good idea. I'm going to try if I can make that work! (I'm not very good at changing backgrounds like that, I can never make it look natural enough)

What's up with me: I'm not busy at all - I have time (and things I want to do, like photoshopping or writing entries about rl stuff), but just not the energy/motivation to get anything done :o/. I would have liked to participate in the latest activity, but nothing inspired me. Even getting to write this comment took me days!

Are you in the northern hemisphere, too? I often find that autumn saps all my energy. If I wasn't so busy and just functioning on stress, I'd be feeling it more this year, too.

Thanks! Yeah, I am and I do have seasonal affective disorder. That probably caused my anxiety to flare up, which made me take my antidepressant again. The endocrinologist I consulted couldn't find anything wrong with me, so she suspects the medication causes my exhaustion. :o/
