Activity #05 - Community Header
All three people who gave their opinion on this month's activity agreed that this comm needs a header, so here we go!

The rules are straightforward:
* Make an image to be used as a header for this community.
* The size must be at least 500x200px and no larger than 800x300 px.
* The header must contain the words "icon" and "talk". Additional words are allowed, and variations (like "icons" or "talking"). E.g. "let's talk about icons" is totally fine!
* Every participant may make up to two headers.
* There won't be any voting or competition. Every entry that fits the above rules will get used.
If possible, I will use javascript that can switch headers on every page load (something like this). If I can't get that to work until the end of the month, I will switch headers manually every month. Every entry will get used!
If you want to make your header fit the current layout, this is what the comm header looks like right now (in Chrome):

I removed the default horizontal-bar-header, and the new header will go into that large empty space there.
I didn't manage to remove the journal title from the layout, so I decided on an unobtrusive speech bubble. It's possible that this will go away too... if I have to wrangle the javascript code into the header anyway, I may as well remove the title, too.
Have fun!

You can make the title go away and keep the header's height with this bit of CSS:
div #titles-wrap {
display: none;
}
#header {
padding-top: 300px;
}

I did this instead:
Now it seems to work. Thank you for your help!

Had to make adjustments to the version I had made earlier and this time I painstakingly did the tiles manually!

So, uh... are you sure you want to use every header?

(if you insist we don't use it, I can make an exception. ;))

Two headers
I wanted to use all the icons that we submitted to the previous activities, and aside from the ones that were eaten by photobucket, I think I managed! For everyone whose icons survived, I used at least one of their icons on each header.
It's the first time I've done headers. Text is a bit easier at these sizes than on icons! Still kinda tricky, but I'm happy with how it turned out.

And, um, I guess I forgot the links.

Everyone already used our icons for the headers, and I can't beat that, so I just made some texture/text-based ones:

I actually just put unmodified stock images into the 100x100 frames - I didn't want to just use three icons since everyone else used icons from all participants. And of course I especially didn't want to just use my own. So that was my compromise. :D
