The idea behind the comm is to make an icon inspired by the last icon in the chain. You just take one aspect of the icon and make a new icon based on that. Then you post your icon as a new post to the nexticon comm.
The last icon (by me, from April) is this one:
Aspects you could latch onto for your new icon: happy, kiss, couple, bl, yellow/green/blue, grunge texture, white border, vibrant coloring, .... etc etc.
You only need to include one single aspect.
(please check again if it's still the last icon before you have a go!)
