Activity #67 - Icon Wishlist

We're trying something new for the last challenge of 2022!

An interactive activity! Post a wish! Create things!

You can post your wishes in comments to this post. Wishes can be vague like "blue icons", or they can be more specific. If you like, they can be accompanied by word prompts, textures, screencaps, anything you can think of and want to see.

The wishes don't have to be for icons, even. You can also ask for icon textures, or for links to icon tutorials, or fonts. As long as the wishes are "icon-related", they're fine.

You can make as many wishes as you like. The more ideas the better!

ETA: Making a wish doesn't require you to make icons/anything. If you feel like you don't have the time or the skill to fill any of the wishes, you're not obliged to make anything. You can still make wishes!

ETA: I see that people are asking for specific (rare) fandom icons. If possible, please point us to where we can find caps of these fandoms. (I wouldn't even know where to start looking!)

We can then all make icons (or whatever else was wished for) in response to those wishes.

This isn't a secret santa kind of thing or an exchange, there are other comms for that. The comments aren't screened, and the resulting icons will be free for everyone to use.

That said, you're welcome to wish for icons that are specifically for yourself (e.g. you can ask for icons with your name on, or with your blorbo), just note that you won't *own* what other people come up with in response to your wishes.

There is no separate deadline for wishes - just that the closer to the end of the activity you post a wish, the less likely it is that anyone will have time to make anything in response.

You can use this as a chance to see other people make icons of your favorite topics, or you can just treat it as an opportunity to share some inspiration or prompts, or ask some questions. You can actually even make icons for your own prompts, if the inspiration strikes you.

I've been wondering about that last sentence. Do you mean you'd like some b/w textures? I could make you some, and/or make a list of existing ones?

Yes, B&W textures or ones with little decorations and such, basically some like the below are always helpful for me. :) Whatever is cool with you, if you feel like you could make some, that would be amazing!Or a list of a few would also be great. :D

There are so many gorgeous icons here and EYE CRINKLES AHOY! I really loved the cropping and colours here and that b/w image of the OFC actors is doing my head in... in the best possible way. ;D

I'm sooo glad you like these!I just couldn't stop myself once I got on the Kurosawa eye crinkle train.*shrug*

I did see the cherry magic publicity photos last year because I was making a crazy amount of icons of it and they're sooo cute!Guess every time I watch something I gotta check on those too,especially for the J dramas!

That OFC photo with the donut is....indeed very delicious!I mean that in the most innocent way possible,lol! ;)

Here I made some Tan / Bun and Tan icons. Actually, I love Bun slightly more, as he shares my profession and Tul played the role of a doctor so perfectly , I became his fan for life. He was utterly convincing as a forensic medico. But of course Bun is an amazing character as well and Max did such a great job with him.







I need to screencap Cherry magic, I've the episodes , but haven't capped it completely. Screencapping is a very fun process but it's also quite time consuming. :D

OoooOOOooooh! I reaally wasn't expecting to get any icons for Manner of Death and yet here they are!!!!!!

And you iconed that publicity photo too! \o/

I adore how saturated the colours are and love the captions as well - Tan does look really suspicious in that 'Prime Suspect' icon. They are delicious!

I love both of these characters right from the first time they meet and Bun falls drunkenly into Tan's arms... yeah, drunk, that's a good excuse having already eyed him up in the car park! :D

Oh. Wow. O_O These are amazing!

I love the slightly grungy dark vibrant coloring you have going on here, it creates a wonderful mood. Especially in 8 and 11 and 1 and 5. 5 is my favorite, I think. And then there are all those gorgeous Meng Yinan photos, and the red one with the Rooster, omg, and, and, I'll just hold them all close and cherish them forever! :D
