Activity #54 - Creepy Crawly Critters

It's the month of Halloween, so I thought we could do some creepy iconing! The activity this month is to icon critters of all kind. They don't have to be scary-creepy, and I've kept the inspiration post free of spiders or bats. But there is no such guarantee for what other people come up with for this theme, so squint through your fingers if you have to. :)

Feel free to icon anything monster-related, scary creatures, and Halloween creepiness. But you can just as well icon happy Halloween decorations and fun examples of the genre, like bat cookies, or Monsters Inc, or the Addams Family. Or you can come at it from the animal aspect and icon critters of all kinds - snakes, birds, insects, etc., not necessarily Halloween-related.

Do angels/fallen angels count as creature in this sense?

Idk? I guess the icons have to fit one of the three words: creepy, crawly, or critter. I wouldn't call angels critters. But if they're creepy, it counts.

What I have in mind is a music vid that has an angel falling. Hmm. I'll see how they come out, I guess, there are some scenes that imo do count as creepy.

Uhhh,I guess I really like my horror games and things.The first one is a creepy movie and the poster itself had an insect and looked creepy to me.
3 ghosts and 1 witch-I hope they count as creatures. If not,please let me know and I'll change these./o\

Yes, they're totally creepy, i think they're all perfect for scary Halloween icons!

I especially like the last one - the huge shadow is really scary. And the first one - artistic and creepy both.

All from the Lost Tomb Reboot, which is nominally Horror, but not actually scary. The early eps had some blood spatter and some blindness (apparently caused by bugs) and some other crawly critters.

So I really hope these are okay. I decided to go for a creepy yet cute vibe. I’m not sure if the Sleeping Beauty icon is “scary” enough, but I reimagined her as a vampire, Snow White is a demon and Cinderella is reimagined as a werewolf who turns into a beast at midnight … so hopefully they still qualify as “monsters”. :)

These... these look really lovely and creepy. o_0 The use of red and blocking looks cool 4 , and the 1st icon looks really interesting with white butterfly in reddish bg , also the crop of 3 looks interesting.

Awesome set, completely capturing the mood of the season , with the whole emphasis on black and red , and I loved both the last two stock icons as well as the incorporation of horror theme in disney characters.

I especially like the horns on the first one and the skull on the fourth. Also the ghosts with the pumpkin are really cool. Both cute and creepy.
