The idea for this challenge is to make icons that look like they're comic panels, lineart, maybe with a border, pop art style, or speech bubbles.

(and the comments contain hints for how to transfer this tutorial from Photoshop to Paintshop)

Of course you can go about this completely differently, and iconing animated source materials is also fair game!

I got a bit carried away and then didn't really have time to weed...





All are from Concubine Walkthrough, and it really is a comic, but the "panels" are all faked with outlines—wish I'd gotten more of the complicated layouts to work, but the half-and-half ones did turn out the most legible.
