I love your icons and the colours!!!

1. Is it an eternal struggle to not hate your icons (based on the great stuff others make) or can you grow out of it?
I have moments when I hate mine and other times I feel like I accomplished something. I'm in the latter lately lol.

2. When keeping the cap background, what's your prefered way of dealing with caps that are smaller than the icon?
I often seek help in textures that would frame the image in a cool way!
