You have a soft colouring style,very pretty! <3
As for icons I don't like,sometimes I just delete the photoshop file if I'm frustrated,sometimes I save it and try it after many months because I forgot about it.But at times I go back and delete textures,images and things I tried on various layers to bring it back to minimal editing and try again.

I started making icons around 2014 frequently, like very regularly.

I very rarely delete the base file - mostly I just save it somewhere as 'attempt #1' and try again.

I just had a poke around your journal and your icons are wonderful! I don't know anybody in them, but the colours and the composition are excellent.
